PartyPoker opened in 2001, and is already the world's largest poker room. Their popularity has been largely due to great software, and a great menu of poker games. The software is powered by iGlobalMedia.

To get started, you'll need to download their software package, which is a 3.2MB download. Once downloaded and installed, the Poker Game software will start automatically. You'll then need to create an account. Once you've created an account, you are ready to go. You'll be in the "main lobby", which is where you select which games to play. You can choose between real-money games, play-money games, and tournaments.

Games
Games are played at many skill levels. You can either play "free poker", or play for real money. Its a great way to learn to play before you play.

i was playin fakw money the other day i had 11million on the table the table was closed for maintance the 11mill never went into my acount this is the second time this happen last time was 6 million i call the support line they dont want to know anything they think its funny.whats the sence of playon for hours to build a stack like that if it all gos away when they fell like shuting a table down

I have been wanting to open a cash acct. but Party Poker's inability to keep players connect during "free multi- table tournaments". It never fails in the beginning of the tournaments to be disconnected,or the site closes you out. Once you get disconnected it's a bear to reconnect. I thought for a long time it was just my dial up. The other nite I changed my table chat. it always stays on summary. For the hell of it I clicked normal. Found out it wasn't just me. There disconnects all around the table. there are times when I can see my table and cards but can not bet fold raise anything. 40 mins it was like that. So before I give them cash they have to prove they can keep players connected

Why are you limiting the chips available and access time to obtain those chips? When I first started playing "play money" was readily available. Unless this improves I will be looking for another provider.

I finally tried Party Poker after having been on Ultimate Bet forever. It's a nice change, and I plan to stay at PP for a while.

The best thing about Party Poker is that there are so many people playing here. You can always catch a game. They claim that they get 60,000 players online at all the time. Thats just a lot of people. It makes the site very vibrant and alive, and a lot of fun.

At the same time, you can see the amateurs in the crowd. They are a little slower in their gameplay as they learn. But overall, its really great.
