Built in 1998 at a cost of $1.6 Billion. 116,000 square foot casino. 3,025 rooms and suites, twelve restaurants, 10 acre lake with thousands of fountains separates the resort from the strip, botanical conservatory which changes several times throughout the year, fine art gallery, European spa, five outdoor pools, salon, upscale shopping area. An MGM Mirage property.

Penthouse Suite at Bellagio
My wife and I spent 2 nights in one of the Penthouse Suites and had a wonderful 2 days. The service was great. The wife really enjoyed the big Jacuzzi tub. The few was great. One night we had dinner in the room and had chocolate covered strawberries and champagne . It was a great evening. We always stay at the Bellagio when we are in Las Vegas.

It's a great hotel
We have been to Vegas several times and have stayed at Mandalay Bay, the Tower Suites at Wynn, Penthouse at Paris and a fountain view suite at Bellagio. The view from Bellagio is absolutely the best on the strip. The price is not the highest, but the location would be worth a little extra. The food at Bellagio is great, especially in Le Cirque and Circo. They even have a 24 hour cafe that serves everything. The food at Paris is horrible, especially room service. Wynn food is excellent as well. Bellagio is crowded because everyone wants to come and "see the sites" around the hotel, so that is a downside. Wynn is the the least crowded and the most relaxing place to stay on the strip, but you will pay for this added solitude. We travel as a married couple and do not bring our toddler daughter. I checked "not family friendly" becuase I think the concept of bringing a child to las vegas is not only rediculous, it makes the experience less enjoyable for everyone else who is trying to have an adults-only getaway. Kids would rather go to Disney World or the beach.

Bellagio is a YES, Wynn is a definite YES, Paris has great rooms, but bad food and very crowded. Mandalay Bay is forgettable. No matter where you stay, see "O" at least one time and if you like it (you will) see Le Reve next.

the Bellagio is the best!
The bellagio has got to be the most greatest hotel in the world. Its even better tha the Venitian or the Wynn. You should stay there because it feels like home and its just a great place to stay.

No strollers, few kids is a great idea
The Bellagio is a great hotel because Vegas is NOT for babies and kids- go to Disneyworld for goodness sakes. Bellagio is pretty good about keeping out those HUGE strollers that block people and take up room in restaurants and walkways. The Bellagio staff is polite about it- but NO ONE in Vegas goes to bed early because it is an adult place. So NO ONE wants to be awakened by noisy kids and rude adults talking in full voice as they run down the hall. Bellagio is expensive enough to keep it almost adults only. The staff is friendly and the service is great. My only complaint is how hard it is to get service in the casino area- sometimes it is an hour before you see a cocktail waitress. The poker room is a lot of fun, with good floor staff. I've have 3 kids and don't go to Vegas to see more! So the Bellagio is a good bet for adults who want to get away. Though my last visit- there were kids in the cafe at ONE A.M. !

Nice, but not worth the price
It sure is pretty, but not worth the price.

They say no kids (which I think is good) but they should stick to it. I saw kids everywhere in the hotel and one was screaming at the buffet the day we ate there - although the breakfast buffet was great and well worth $13.

Their pools are over crowded. Very had to get a spot in the shade w/o paying big bucks for a cabana.

The room was very nice and clean but the rooms are not very soundproof. I think it's the cracks around the door - you could see a lot of light into the hall so of course sound will travel - banging doors, loud guests... I think they sould spring for a little "weather stripping" for around the room doors.

Staff wasn't outright rude - just "indifferent". Front desk clerks were an exception - they were very polite and upbeat. Valet attendents were snooty.

BEST HOTEL EVER
The Bellagio has to be the best hotel ever. I am a kid and stayed here and really enjoyed it. I like the five star hotel and the rooms were really good and clean. The hotel was perfect.

I stayed at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas. One day I was walking alone in the hotel, feeling quite bored. I had never really been attracted to women before... men were always my thing. But as I gazed at these gorgeous women in the hotel, with their round breasts being almost fully exposed, I felt a stirring sensation going through my body. The one person that I remember the most was, believe it or not my maid. My room was cleaned every day and I admit I was not a good guest. I saw her on more than one occasion and she was extremely courteous and met my every need. Jackson from New York if you ever get to read this, I want you to know that I will remember my stay and recommend this place to everybody.

Stay here. There is so much excitement at this hotel. I loved walking out at night and seeing the fantastic water display. Its packed with people just relaxing and watching. The only complaint is that it is expensive. But, if you onlt make it to Vegas rarely (like me), this is the place to be!

No complaints about the hotel but to pay $600 for a totally rushed dinner at Picasso was completely insulting. I agree with everyone who says LEAVE THE KIDS AT HOME. They may be prescious to their parents but they're nothing short of complete annoyances to everyone else. Bellagio (and the rest of Vegas) should ban them altogether.

I recently stayed at the Bellagio Hotel in Las, Nevada. I had a pleasurable experience while there even though it was a company trip. I was treated very well by all of the staff while there. The one person that I remember the most was, believe it or not my maid. My room was cleaned extraordinarily every day and I admit I was not a good guest. I saw her on more than one occasion and she was extremely courteous and met my every need. Lorenza from Texas if you ever get to read this, I want you to know that I will remember my stay and recommend this palace to all of my business associates do to your hospitality.

we are english and did not get a warm welcome in the bellagio, it is as though the staff looked down on us, this is not a problem anywhere in else in america.
have stayed in MGM, recommend it 100%

We just returned from vegas and stayed at the B for the first time. We thought everything about the hotel was first class. We had a room (Lakefront overlooking the water show) that was outstanding. The staff was courteous and efficient. Went to Prime Restaurant and had one of the best meals ever. The pool is spectacular and the hotel attracts very few kids which works for us. I wasn't impressed with the casino (attitude, fun and service left a little to be desired). But I am not one looking for comps, so I could gamble anywhere. If you are renting a car, choose dollar and you can return it right at the hotel and save yourself time at the airport. My wife loved the shopping at the hotel and the location is perfect for the strip. We are going back in May and will definitely stay at the Bellagio.

Beautiful eye appeal while walking down the strip. Loved the water show. Loby, service, casino were truly outstanding. My wife and I spent five outstanding days at the Bellagio and have made reservations for another stay in December.
We will be taking my parents for a special occassion.

Not go again, too much construction noise, not enough for lids, onterior repetitive, no variety. kids were bored, not many things for them. we all agree that MGM Grand is best for kids and aduts see their lightshow! AWESOME!
staff were rude, bellboys were ungrateful of $15 every time, not even thanx!
rooms were average, much less than expected in terms of value for money, only good bit was fountains.
visit M&M and coca-coal world on strip, water was terrible. smelt and was murky.

went with wife and two kids, will not go to Bellagio again! rooms too pricey for what you, get, would have been happy to pay it for better room, construction noise, difficult to sleep. not much for kids, or us! would not recommend with family, or even couple, go to Ceasars or Grand i have found.Grand has best service, and tower rooms are great. did like the fountains, but that was about it!

My husband and I stayed at the Bellagio in Sept. of 2002, and recently came upon this website. We would like to share our views. We were pleasently suprised to have a early check-in when arrived, especially because of my husband having lukeimia. Our first room had a view of the pool, how beautiful-we enjoyed that for one night. Early construction had us up practicaly before dawn! We called down to the front desk and talked to the manager on duty and they very apologetically asked if they could switch rooms for us-we accepted it and were put on the strip side view-(the view was of the flood-lights on the Bellagio) but we thought " oh well", later that morning there was even louder construction noise, again we called and told them that we would need a room that was quite so my husband could rest. To our delight they put us in a suite on the 34th floor overlooking the fountains.! We didn't expect that kind of treatment which was most gracious-We seemed to have been taken under the wing.
The room was plush and very clean. Our room attendents were very, very pleasureable, no matter what we needed, it was no bother. We enjoyed the cleanliness of the casino and actually the quiteness of the casino-not just because of people not winning-it just seemed to be less "cheesey" than all the other casinos-the casino attendents were pleasent and "johnny on the spot" even when we "hit" our little jackpots-We enjoyed dining throught the Bellagio and had nothing but good service and friendly wait staff-The pool was lovely and had some shady areas, but you had to be somewhat early to get those spots. We were a little dissapointed when we found out that all the fountain pools were not heated-the water was like ice!-those areas were the most quaint and romantic, but not at all enjoyable (too bad)-the two large pools were nice-at least the water was comfortable to sit or swim in!-but like most all the pools in vegas, it's only 3'5" feet deep-when my husband is 6'5" he feels like he's splashing in the tub-but that's trivial(I guess). The location is great, you need to go south on the strip, take the tram over to monte carlo and then it's not so far. (the tram is out until 2004)-If you want to go north near Mirage or Venetian it's a walk but not too bad. The botanical gardens are fragrant in the spring and summer-it smells like heaven-in the fall not as fragrant but just as lovely to look at-worth the free walk through. And finally the fountains in the front-nothing discribes it--see it--feel it--enjoy it! Can't wait to go back!
