Host service is worst on Gulf Coast
If you are used to hosted service and are worth less than an average daily loss of $800 dont even bother. The slot hosts are the worst on the gulf coast. For an $800 average daily loss I get fantastic service at the Grand Biloxi, Hard Rock and Island View. The Beau needs to learn about customer service.

Dissapointed in our stay!
My sister and I wanted to gamble. We live on the east coast and we have heard about Biloxi. Everyone suggested we stay at the Beau Rivage. Our check in was pleasant although not informative. The first thing we noticed is there is no security by the elevators to the rooms. This was a red flag, as in all other places we have stayed, there is a security guard checking your credentials so random people can't go upstairs. In our entire stay we never saw any security! The room had no water or snacks or bar...Mind you we didn't need the snacks or the bar but it would have been nice to have some water (all hotels have it and they charge you if opened. My sister and I would of gladly paid for it...instead we had to walk out of our room and find a vending machine? I thought this was a 5 star hotel/casino.
We gambled all day and went to the buffet. We had no idea how the comps worked so the lady at the restraunt said for us to bill it to our room and we could cash in our comps before our stay was up. Food was not that good and the service was even worse. We left for our room at 10pm. At 2:15am we heard a loud knock on our door. Then another knock with someone yelling room service. I told them thru the door 3 times that we didn't order anything. They knocked again...at that point I looked out the peep hole and she was leaving. I opened the door and at that point she said OOPS wrong room. We never got back to sleep and were up at 5am. We went downstairs at 7:30 for brakfast. We ordered and it took almost 1 hour for 2 eggs, potatoes and wheat toast. By the time our food got there it was cold and we lost our appetitie. We walked next door to the Hard Rock...we were greeted at the door and walked directly to the players club. They gave us $10 free play and we had a great time. We left and went to the Grand and were greeted much the same way-they gave me a $20 bill!! We were ready to leave and go back to the Beau Rivage when a LIMO pulled up and gave us a complimentary ride back...now thats service!
We got back and gambled some more and were ready to retire...we had a 7am flight to catch so we tried to cash in our comps. We were directed here and there and back to here...no results. Then we were told to call Casino Services x 2777...there computers were down with no idea when they would be working again. I asked them what time they closed they said 12am...what time do they open 6am. We got up and went to check out and again got nowhere with collecting our comps. We were told to go and find a "pit boss" and they could help us. We did and he directed us to someone else...after 30 minutes I had to go to catch our bus. So I called at 6am and was told they don't open until 7am...okay how come the 4 other people including the one at Casino services said 6am?? Finally at 7:15 was able to get our food comp and completed my check out over the phone. I am just hoping the bill matches the total amnt!!! My sister never got to use her comps...I find alot wrong with this picture and was very disappointed with our stay at the Beau Rivage...the name sounds fancy but the Hotel in not!

Checked in at 6pm and went to my room. My room had not been cleaned. I got a weak apology and 30 minutes later another room. The food in the buffet was not appetizing at all. For the prices thay charge to stay at this hotel I expected much better.

Booking in and out took forever - any real hotel is quick - this one was over 30 minutes

Poker Room
While I did not actually stay at the hotel, I did drive down for a couple of days to play poker in the Beau Rivage's new poker room. I thought that the room was extremely comfortable and the staff was friendly, but the play was pretty loose. I cannot whine about the frequent suckouts, for that is the nature of the game. Just be sure to bring enough money to cushion the initial blows. This was the first card room I've ever played in that had no cap on the buy in for the $1/2 NL table, and money could be brought to the table at any point in the game (between hands). I don't think that this is the best policy for a low stakes game, which quickly turns into a high stakes game after one or two bad beats. I will return to the casino but with a higher bankroll....Playing perfect poker for 4 hours and losing it all with aces preflop to kings kinda sucks when you don't have the money to buy back in!

Best of the BEST
This was, by far the best of the best in Biloxi and even anywhere I have stayed in the gaming community all over this country.
I look forward to going back. You all continue to be in our prayers. May God bless the folks in MS and others hurt by the Katrina storm!

Loved it...hope to love it again one day
I loved the Beau Rivage before the hurricane. My husband and I were there the week before Hurricane Katrina struck. We're heartbroken by what happened. However, we're looking forward to visiting a new Beau Rivage. The staff was friendly and the comps I got were good. The only complaint I had was that you couldn't arrive on a Saturday. Hopefully that will change when they reopen.

i have lost hundreds of dollars, and made hundreds of dollars, never received any comp's. they have always said i never played enough. i guess 10 hours a day is not enough. we tried other hotels, received dinner and breakfast free all the time, and only played several hours at other hotels

when we went to the player club we had cards that must have been so old they were invalid in 3 attempts we wwere unable to get new cards found the restroom closed off the casino floor and found only one other rest room on the ground floor at the other end of the building away from the casino floor the theater was excellent not a bad seat in the housethe food is very expensive especally breafast where eggs, toast and coffee cost two of us $30.00 there is a waffel house right across the street where I can get steak and eggs for less than that my wife won $454.00 in a dollar slotand $50.00 more in a quarter machine so we came home with sdome of your moneyLB

This was my first trip to Mississippi. I did some research that indicated that the Beau Rivage was the best in Biloxi. It also worked out well that I had previous history with MGM/Mirage casinos. I was "blown away" by this hotel. The outside entrance is beautiful. The bellhop service was top-notch. He stayed with us throughout check-in rather than passing us off and making us call for our luggage later. The lobby is stunning. The whole interior (lobby/casino) has a look similar to Bellagio in Las Vegas but where Bellagio is cold and impersonal, this hotel is warm and friendly. The room was very nice with an efficient and unobtrusive air-conditioning system. I was very impressed with the range and quality of the restaurants. The pool was excellent.

I checked online December of 2004 for a show package and called for a reservation and was told that that price could not be correct. She would not honor the web price for 2 tickets and one nights' accommadation. I was looking at the web page at the time and she said "so sorry" but we cannot honor that price. She quoted $10.00 more than the web price and I haven't been back there since.

Your place is very beautiful and we always enjoy ourselves when we stay with you. We love staying at the Beau for several reasons: the rooms are beautiful, the service is excellent, we always win at the casino, everyone is so friendly, and you guys always seem to know where we are. The last time my husband and I stayed there we swore we would go back every change we got. We are currently planning our next trip to the Beau. Thanks for the wonderful stay and we look forward to seeing you again soon. Keep smile'n!!!

I bought a getaway package for me and my wife I needed a powerwheelchair the front desk had a local medical service to bring me one. the room I thought was nice I had difficulty getting close enough to the slots to play them we were there neare Christmas and the way the casino was decoated was beautiful the shops are for the rich only my wife picked up a pair of black shoes in one shop the sales lady was delighted to tell us the shoes were only$200.00 I like the way the casino is laid out. no problem in getting around unlike the Grand that wants to take you all over their building to find a restaurant I called the Beau later to try to have a birthday brunch for my wife and a party of about 17 people, then I found out how snobby they can be I never could get a price for Sunday Brunch we went else where I rememeber back when Sears thought they were so big no one could bring them down then along came Sam Walton just one man in Arkansas and where is Sears today? don't be surprised if this casino begins to fail they've done it to themselve
