For low stacks in tournaments abound. You can almost be sure that low stacks will get spanked with runner, runner flush draws, gut shot straights and low pairs making sets versus premium hands. If you build a good bankroll, a long inevitable dry streak typically happens. Those people who get stuck and try to move up in stakes to "get the money back" learn a sore lesson. It's strictly a site to play small stakes with.
My husband and I just returned from a 3-night complimentary stay. We couldn't rest in our suite because of too much noise from neighbors and construction. We moved to a standard room for days 2 and 3. Both rooms were pretty, but there were no locks on the new bathroom doors and we value privacy. The slots seemed to be very tight: bet 18/win 3. We had 2 comp meals at Farraday's. The food was delicious and the waitress was very nice. The loudmouths at the bar spoiled the dining and no attempt was made to quiet them. I would have been very upset if I'd had to pay their high prices for that. Maybe they should have waited until all was in order before reopening. This was not our first stay at Isle of Capri, but it may well be our last.

Why cant you ring these filthy jew pimps???? My account has been suspended and theres still $100 US in the damn thing...
I cannot get any reply from these odious roaches.
I want to know where my money is. Also who knows what these sites do, as noone sees the code. They could have players in their offices with special options in their client package that can see everybodies cards. Look when theres a lot of cash and humanity there is always theft and shiftiness. ALWAYS!!!!!!!! Theres so much EASY cash floating in their accounts, and they are all offshore so that they dont pay taxes, and well, does anyone audit these gangster jew pimps???? Arthur Andersen perhaps.
World War Three will be started by the GREED of the AmericAn JEW!
You heard it here first............

Unlike Caesar's that smells like a nursing home and Bally's that looks like a 'walker/wheelchair' convention, I like the Trop. Will return.

After 20 beers at slot-o-fun good luck finding your room. Dirt bags and losers everywhere. Manor rooms are no nicer than trailer parks. This place is the worst. Stay at the Strat or downtown, but not here.

Other than the staff, this place is just fine. Hookers, pot dealers make it interesting. Diner has good specials.

We stayed at Terribles in 2005. It was a long planned vacation and we found the hotel to be very nice for the price. When we travel, all we expect is a clean room to stay in. We got that. If I had any complaint at all, it would be the size of the bathroom. But, we don't spend a lot of time in there so it really doesn't matter. The food at Bouganvillias was wonderful and the portions were very generous. We ate at the buffet once, but I was not feeling good and didn't really get to taste a lot. My husband said it was very good.
While the casino is small and a bit smokey, we enjoyed playing there. We knew to expect the smoke and so we don't gripe about it. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was quick to work and did a great job.
If the opportunity comes up again, we would stay there in a heartbeat. I just wish that Terribles was on our airline vacation packages list!

Well, the good thing and bad thing about downtown is that it is trashy. Maybe you like it, or maybe you don't.

While I did not actually stay at the hotel, I did drive down for a couple of days to play poker in the Beau Rivage's new poker room. I thought that the room was extremely comfortable and the staff was friendly, but the play was pretty loose. I cannot whine about the frequent suckouts, for that is the nature of the game. Just be sure to bring enough money to cushion the initial blows. This was the first card room I've ever played in that had no cap on the buy in for the $1/2 NL table, and money could be brought to the table at any point in the game (between hands). I don't think that this is the best policy for a low stakes game, which quickly turns into a high stakes game after one or two bad beats. I will return to the casino but with a higher bankroll....Playing perfect poker for 4 hours and losing it all with aces preflop to kings kinda sucks when you don't have the money to buy back in!

My family and I have stayed at the Flamingo 2 different years and
love it there BUT last time (July '06) check-in at airport was
terrible!!! Did not get rooms we had asked for (had booked OCT '05)
would not put our daughters in room next to us (they were put WAY
down the hall and were harrassed by 4-5 drunkenR louts running the
halls yelling when they left their room on two occasions. They didn't
tell us till we got home as they knew we would have been upset.
We ask for pool view but no !!!!! we got strip. Seemed anything I ask
for, I got opposite. Rooms were badly in need of a mighty hard scrub
plus updating but we could live with it for 10 days except the ONE
time I ask for housekeeping, they never touched the bathrooom !!!!!
And believe me, I can make beds better than that. But all in all, we
plan to go back to Flamingo again this July as we do love pools &
grounds, location and price. What we can do without is that snippy,
bored, disinterested, totally rude young gal at airport check-in !!!!!!!
Regardless, I would still recommmend the Flamingo but do not expect
air & graces nor fancy-dancy. For the money, they are great (especially
IF you get what you BOOKED !!!)

I've stayed at the Colorado Belle several times with my young son.
They have good prices and decent clean rooms.
My son was particularly impressed with the pool with the waterfall & the buffet.

I stayed at the River Palms with my son for 3 days in April, 2006. It's not an experience I care to repeat. The room was cheap, but ended up costing more than I would have paid elsewhere when I had to pay for local calls to an internet provider when I checked out. I was told on checking in that there would not be a charge for these calls.
Also, my room had a hole in the window from a bb or bullet that had not been repaired and my son found prescription drugs scattered on the floor by his bed.
I would never stay there again with my family.

So reading below I don't really understand the problems people had with it. In my opinion this casino was where the party was at. All of the casinos have their good and bad, and one bad experience will, of course happen time to time. When I was there it was so amazingly fun. The atmosphere was great all around the casino floor at all hours of the day. You can walk in there at 9am and find happy people having a great time all over, and walk through again at 3 am and still find tons of happy people. The drinks were good and the staff was great. Whenever my mother or I needed anything they were there within minutes. OH and ladies if you're planning any sort of "ladies night" out, you need to go see Thunder from down under! ha! Anyway I loved it and I have a large group of friends that are all planning to go down for a week in June! Stay here if you want to party the night away :)
