Hotel Review for Stardust Hotel and Casino: I loved the Stardust (4 stars)

It was my first hotel (major one) I've stayed at. I have been going to Vegas with my parents since I was a baby and now Im 16. Stardust was a great place. I knew where everything was. The only thing I hated was the arcade but who cares lol :-). Anyway I will miss the Stardust so much. It was a very good hotel.

You know people come to this place because its a little bit of the past, a little bit of home. So for you ignorant snow birds it has an E in the name because the its founder Mickey Gilley's name. I swear if you don't know your country stay out of our country bars!

Hotel Review for Flamingo Las Vegas: Not bad (4 stars)

Recently spent four nights here with my wife. Despite many visits to Vegas, had never stayed here, but we did this rather last minute, largely because we got the room for only $60 a night. So, really, at that price, how can you complain? Here's how...lol.... seriously, this is a nice property in a great location. The room was a typical hotel room, with a large wet area on the carpet near the window. Why was it wet? Beats me. We decided that it didn't matter, though neither of us noticed it getting much dryer during the five days. Ate at three of the restaurants and all had solid food. The buffet setting is rather nice, overlooking the animal sanctuary and a waterfall. The pool area is nice, though a bit crowded. There is a water slide, which I think makes this a kid-friendly hotel (I had to elbow more than a few out of the way to go down the slide, which we did quite a few times.) Complaints? Well, we booked "smoking king," were told we had a "smoking king" upon check in and then went to our room to find ourselves on a non-smoking floor. When my wife the smoker called to find out what the deal was, they got snippy with her. She was not happy, but we let it ride (and no, she didn't smoke in the room.) But overall, very nice. Also saw George Wallace, who was very good. In closing, a word to the wise. The nice people from Hilton will accost you near the elevators for their time share presentation. They will promise you the sun, the moon and the stars, and while they did deliver on all they said they would, they fell far short in one area: pressure. They made a big deal about how they didn't do a pressure filled sales pitch, etc., but when we decided not to buy, they got very snappy and crappy and handed us to an older gentleman, who was downright rude. They also spent three hours telling us how bad other time shares were. We ended up making a minor purchase at Westgate (with the Aladdin), largely because of the charming older gentleman who spent time with us. He was very classy and had nothing but nice things to say about other timeshares, including the Hilton, which he said fired him because he was too old. Go figure.

Hotel Review for Sam's Town Casino: The Best Friendliness IN TUNICA COUNTY Period (3 stars)

Rooms are VERY nice but when i requested 2 double beds i got 2 full size. They don't have any queen size beds at all in the whole hotel. Bathroom was totally nice but it didnt have a fan in the ceiling for odor or heat. You have to pay for the internet and it wasnt FREE like I thought. From a 1-1000 I'll rate the room a 900.
When you walk into the hotel/reservation area it'll make you want to faint. Everything is beautiful and makes you feel like you are a high roller and a celeb. Rich marble and dark wood is everywhere--I love it. Parking is not easy on summer weekends because it is crowded. That means that Sam's is pretty good. The Great Buffet was all right. It was smaller than I thought. On the website virtual tour it looks BIG BIG.
Thanks BOYD GAMING-SAM'S TUNICA

Hotel Review for Gold Strike Casino: Gold Strike-Courtyard Buffet (4 stars)

The Courtyard Buffet have Crab Fest on Every Saturday. This means that they are suppost to have king, dungeness, and snow crab legs. Didn't have anything connected to that. Just snow crab and that looked like they were babies. No crab meat in them. Since this is the tallest building in MS and one of the largest casinos in MS, they should have a nice buffet but it is just SMALL. No asian, italian, or mexican--just american and a plain ol carving station.
The buffet is on the other side of the casino--not good for children. They dont even have a walkway to the buffet, you have to go through tables and slots. and it at the totally back in a corner. Bad for elderly people when seriously crowded. Should be in the front like Sam's Town.
On Saturdays it is $18.99 where as Ameristar in Vicksburg is $20.99 with what lookes like KING CRAB with asian, italian, and mexican PLUS a sparkling chocolate fountain.
With 330 seats there no room for anyone like the Grand and Horseshoe with 650+ seats especially on Fri. nites.
Probably wont come back but I hope they improve.
Thanks for a good time though, The Strike

Hotel Review for Atlantis Casino Resort: This is the BEST place in Reno! (5 stars)

They have got it all! Clean, roomy rooms, fun glass elevators, good selection of slots and some smoke-free too! I loved the views on the skywalk, the sushi was all you can eat, and so fresh! I even won money when somebody hit a special jackpot, everyone else won $25, how cool! My friends and hung out at the pool after our massages. Definitely a good value! REally friendly people too.

Hotel Review for Isle of Capri Hotel and Casino: (3 stars)

I have stayed here several times, the buffet has in the past been so bad that we have gone out of the hotel for dinner. This week stay, I had a 4year old with me so we ate at the buffet. It was so good we {6 of us} ate there 2 nights in a row. The pool staff and bartender were more interested in flirting than doing their job. The front desk clerks were NOT friendly or welcoming either. I ordered a non-smoking room and when I called down from my SMOKING ROOM I was told too bad- they can not guarantee rooms. Why ask when you make the reservation? I was STRONGLY upset that the desk clerks are allowed to treat guests like this. I will have to think long and hard before returning.

Review for PartyPoker.com: disconnects

I have been wanting to open a cash acct. but Party Poker's inability to keep players connect during "free multi- table tournaments". It never fails in the beginning of the tournaments to be disconnected,or the site closes you out. Once you get disconnected it's a bear to reconnect. I thought for a long time it was just my dial up. The other nite I changed my table chat. it always stays on summary. For the hell of it I clicked normal. Found out it wasn't just me. There disconnects all around the table. there are times when I can see my table and cards but can not bet fold raise anything. 40 mins it was like that. So before I give them cash they have to prove they can keep players connected

Hotel Review for Plaza Hotel and Casino: Review for Plaza Hotel in Las Vegas (1 stars)

This is a low quality hotel, if your budget is tight, than this may be your hotel. The smells, the oldness, having to check-in thru the garage entrance tells you something about this hotel, old furniture, tv without a remote. called about room before arriving in Vegas, I was told my request was ready, got there just the opposite, told first come first served, even tho it was booked a month ahead. A comlete tear down to the slab and then rebuild would be suitable for this hotel. Ask if I will ever stay there again, absolutely not!

Hotel Review for Grand Casino: Casino (3 stars)

Hotel was fine.We stayed on a comp at the Casino Hotel and paid for my daughter's family at the veranda. Have yet to figure out why it costs 20 dollars more for a 5 yr old and a baby to stay in the same size room if it was only their parents. They are using no more beds or anything. The hotels were fine but I have NEVER ever met anyone as RUDE as the players club hostess we encountered. Caesars has taken over and if your players club card was from Grand Biloxi, Gulfport, or Vegas affiliates you supposedly are able to combine all your points and be issued a new card consolidating all points according to 1=800-eharrahs.com. Just take it to the players club and they will be HAPPY to do it. First as my husband and I approach the counter she snaps "Sir, you can't come up here we are conducting a transaction"
I said "this is my husband" and she said 'I don't care he has to wait.he can't come up here" Funnily enough though a black man and women were both at the counter TOGETHER right before we got there so am wondering if this is reverse racism as I'm white????????? After about ten mins she found all three of my accounts but could not find the points so we had zero and were unable to access comps. I know know why the people were standing all night for the Biloxi casinos to open and saying they'd never go to Tunica again. North mississippi you nead some class! Grand casino's used to have a good name. Will not be back.Biloxi and vegas here we come.

Hotel Review for Excalibur Hotel: Security (4 stars)

I entered the elevator area and got on at least 4 times during my stay and the SECURITY OFFICER WAS NOT THERE - this makes me nervous because guests will bring their friends up to the rooms without Security knowing. As someone who loves your Hotel and Casino, that bothers me. My daughter is not always with us even though she is over 21, I don't want her safety comprised because SECRITY WAS AWAY FROM THEIR POST.

Hotel Review for Rio Suite Hotel and Casino: service (1 stars)

The management is rude, unfriendly and unocomadating. Voddo loune manager Dennis Carvalho, macho man, rude. I try to talk to him and he kicks me and my pregnant wife out of lounge after we ate dinner. Simply because i was outside and had relaxing after dinner. He is an embarrasment to this organization. The were rude to my pregnant wife. They took me away from her and really scared here. This all took place early in evening, completely ruined our vacation.

Hotel Review for Bellagio Hotel and Casino: No strollers, few kids is a great idea (5 stars)

The Bellagio is a great hotel because Vegas is NOT for babies and kids- go to Disneyworld for goodness sakes. Bellagio is pretty good about keeping out those HUGE strollers that block people and take up room in restaurants and walkways. The Bellagio staff is polite about it- but NO ONE in Vegas goes to bed early because it is an adult place. So NO ONE wants to be awakened by noisy kids and rude adults talking in full voice as they run down the hall. Bellagio is expensive enough to keep it almost adults only. The staff is friendly and the service is great. My only complaint is how hard it is to get service in the casino area- sometimes it is an hour before you see a cocktail waitress. The poker room is a lot of fun, with good floor staff. I've have 3 kids and don't go to Vegas to see more! So the Bellagio is a good bet for adults who want to get away. Though my last visit- there were kids in the cafe at ONE A.M. !
