After staying three days at the Rio, when I got my car back from the valets, the whole chunk of my dashboard with the air conditioner and radio had been ripped out. It had to have been an inside job. There was no evidence of forced entry like a broken window or hacked car locks. The valets were the only one’s with the keys for 72 hours.
I was obviously a little upset, but the staff did all they could to not allow me to speak to the hotel manager. They gave me the run around, and shoved me in the back of Sports Grill with some complimentary meal tickets. Needless to say, I was not hungry. When an hour had passed and I went to find out what the status was from the Rio’s "investigation" of the parking lot security tapes, I was led by the security supervisor to a back room where I was detained for half an hour with another Rio security member standing guard.
The security supervisor then told me there was no tape, gave me a lot of canned answers about how sorry they were, finally took the report (now 3 hours later), then told me I would have to go down to the police station to personally fill out the report. In effect, the Rio did everything they could to scoot me out the door.
I filed the report mostly for insurance reasons since I knew that the police clerk would tell me there was not much they could do, which she did.
The thing that really makes the Rio look shady is that even as a paying registered guest of the hotel, not only did they not take care of my car, not only did they give me the run around and try to suggest that I was responsible for what happened, they did everything they could to get rid of me.

'Let me recommend of a member of over 30 online poker rooms, that I STRONGLY recommend not using Paradise Poker anymore. I am suggesting a complete withdrawal of funds and boycott by all. Paradise Poker has put a new upgrade in place, that blocks all users that has firewalls, and suspends their accounts immediately. If you have friends that come over to your house to play online poker on your computer, and their system had the firewalls in place, your account will also be suspended. Let me explain. My friend 'peedware' on Paradise Poker, who has multiple purchases on Paradise Poker, had his account permanently suspended after submitting the new upgrade to his computer...the reason 'firewalls'. Peedware in turn wanted to play, so came to my house after work and we were planning on a buy-in and poker playing experience from my computer. Once we attempted to log in to paradise poker through his name, they permanently suspended my account 'duskandjim'. They offer no valid replies to why this happened, and refuse to give me a contact phone number to speak to a manager of their site. Does paradise poker even have a phone number, or is it a skeleton company, that is taking deposits, and not allowing it's customers any access to speaking to a person 1 to 1 if their is an issue? Honestly, through e-mails, you could be talking to an 11 yr. old boy, collecting all your bank information. Paradise poker will no longer even reply to my e-mails. Now understand, players of the world...I have 10's of thousands of dollars that has been in action in Paradise Poker in my over 3 year history with the site. I have personally got nearly 20 players to play on it's site. I have over 3300 player points since the year began, which means I'm well over 3000 hands for the year alone. This is the answer's I get from them? 'We no longer care to discuss this matter'? Have they even discussed it....No, because they refuse to give me a contact number, or even contact me. I have thought in the past, that their customer service was lacking and very arrogant, but this is the straw that broke the camels back'. So, everyone who reads this, A: DO NOT UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES USE THE NEW UPGRADE, IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY, AND B: I SUGGEST A COMPLETE BOYCOTT UNTIL THEY FIX ALL SOFTWARE ISSUES. I recommend Party Poker to all, due to great customer service, quickness in response time, and multiple bonuses.

First of All the distance of the main strip is deceiving. Looked like I was right down the street and in walking distance to all the main casino's.... WRONG.
No coffee pots in the rooms. How hard would that be. I realize they want you to go play in the casino and buy there. Would it be that much cost lost to have a coffee pot in the room so that when you get up in the morning you could have a cup of coffee to get your day started.
Our first night there we were woken up at 4 in the morning by guest in the hotel who could not get in their room. They were screaming in the hall way banging on doors. My husband looked out of the room to see a security gaurd standing there who did nothing as this went on for an hour and a half. We did complain to the front desk that day. Which they told us there was nothing they could do. Sometimes these things just happen. Ok so maybe these things happen some times but does the screaming and banging have to go on for that long when there is a security gaurd also in the hall allowing this to go on. So they really care for the rest of their guest staying there.
We parked in the parking garage. We went to our vehicle everyday. Well on our last day there our vehicle got broken into. You would think with the money the casino makes they would have survellience through out the parking garage. Well they said they don't they only camera's are on the elevators and the stairs. They stole cd's, souvieneers that I had purchased on our drive up to vegas. cd player, cb radio, even 2 thermas's. Like what would you do with a used thermas. They even took our trip ticket. A map on how to get to vegas. We called security which of course they were not helpful. There is nothing they could do. I even had to go to City hall to file a police report. I could have file that over the phone, but they told me that if I place a report over the phone it wouold be at least 2 months before the report would get processed.
I would not stay at this hotel again.

The holet was nice and the staff was really great. I loved the B-B-Q at Corkey's. I do wish that the slots paid out a little better then they do. The penny machines were awsome some of the best that I have played in a long time. I also was really impressed with the card tables the people who deal was pleasent and very understanding that it was my first time to sit at any table game. I would tell my friends and family about the hotel and casino. We loved the breakfast buffet too. And to the lady that works the comp desk Nettie, You are the reason that i come back to the hotel you are so nice and very well informed about your hotel and job THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP!!!!!!!!Just loosen the slots a little more and you will be the best in Tunica Thanks agian

I have played at Terrible's casino before and liked it. When I went to book a trip to Vegas at the last minute, I couldn't find a reasonably priced hotel on the strip. So I decided to try Terrible's since it was only $105 per night. Yuck! The hotel is the old Continental and the key word is "old". Rooms were clean but junky. Beds were not comfortable, sink and toilet areas were small, wallpaper was pealing a bit. Our door had a 3/4" gap all along the top of it so noise and light passed through quite easily. People working throughout the casino appeared to hate everyone/life/their job. One blackjack dealer looked like she was about to die of boredom. I asked if she was dealing a long time and she just nodded. I then asked if she hates her job as much as she appears to and she gave me the same nod. The only words she said were, "is the time on your watch right?". When I confirmed it, she had a look of major disappointment. We did get a comp for breakfast at the buffet and then went upstairs to enjoy it. The hostess told us the buffet closed 1 minute before we got there and she wouldn't seat us even though there were plenty of other people still eating in the restaurant. I then asked to speak with a manager and she simply said, "she's in the other restaurant if you want to talk to her". She didn't tell us her name until we asked and she didn't offer to take us over or call her to us. They have signs hung all over the place that say their slot club was voted the best by the local paper. But when you read the small print, you'll see the vote was earned years ago. A couple of women who were on the slot club staff were rude and the line for the club desk was always at least 20 minutes long. I definitely won't stay here again and would encourage you to find someplace else too.

Actually went in August on a midweek $139 special and traveled solo. My room overlooked the pool and was clean and comfortable.
I really enjoyed the poolside scene, lots of interesting LA types. Great music to tan by.
The service all around was not so great . Poolside wait staff had better things to do than help us. Restaurant selection was poor. Nobu and the breakfast place were good though. I ate mostly at the johnnie rockets across the street. The casino staff seemed more interested in watching the baseball games on some nearby TVs. My blackjack dealer lept making mistake after mistake. The pit boss wasn't interested.
I will most likely try a different hotel next time I am in town.

There was MOLD on the showerhead. There were LAYERS of dust in a few different places in the room. They would not refund the money for the room or move us to a different room. The pool is tiny and closes at 5pm. The parking is a 1/2 mile from the room. The managers are rude, the bellhops are rude and unwilling to actually service their customers. We had to walk with our luggage across the casino floor as part of the hotel was under construction, which they failed to mention at the time of booking.

First, the valet will only park your car if you are staying over night which I was and they had room for my car but my family traveling in a different car arriving at the same time could no park. Second, I play at Trump Plaza on a regular and spend a lot of money and when I went back they said I had to play for 30 minutes in order to receive my cashback and bonus kiosk money from the previous trip. I played before and it should be available. Rooms are small and the beds are old and they try to hide the old beds by putting good linen on them. The staff is rude and uncaring. My aunt was a diabetic and needed food immediately and they said she should have prepared her meals ahead and it was not their problem. Checking in and out is a nightmare go to Showboat or Harrahs's where everyone is very helpful, respectful and knowledgeable.

Why are you limiting the chips available and access time to obtain those chips? When I first started playing "play money" was readily available. Unless this improves I will be looking for another provider.

Love the rooms, but I'm a fancy man and require a large room with fountains and works of art. I prefer staying at Trump or Caesers.

It sure is pretty, but not worth the price.
They say no kids (which I think is good) but they should stick to it. I saw kids everywhere in the hotel and one was screaming at the buffet the day we ate there - although the breakfast buffet was great and well worth $13.
Their pools are over crowded. Very had to get a spot in the shade w/o paying big bucks for a cabana.
The room was very nice and clean but the rooms are not very soundproof. I think it's the cracks around the door - you could see a lot of light into the hall so of course sound will travel - banging doors, loud guests... I think they sould spring for a little "weather stripping" for around the room doors.
Staff wasn't outright rude - just "indifferent". Front desk clerks were an exception - they were very polite and upbeat. Valet attendents were snooty.

The Borgata is great but because they have Movies playing in the elevators...I was arrrested. You see they were playing an elevator movie that I hadn't seen before, so went to my room and got a chair and set up camp in the elevator. I got a a six pack and some snacks....BTW it was a Harry Potter Movie....I was in there for about 45 minutes...most people were very nice and didn't talk much while they rode to thier floor but....two loud mouth people got on and push the button the top floor.....I knew they were going to be trouble , so I "shhh'ed em right-a-way...I seems that they were a pair of big time nickle slot players, they threaten to hit me with thier walkers. I shhhh'ed em again because Harry was looking like he was getting in trouble.....but they just wanted to talk about losing the rent money.......I had enough....I gave em a really big "shhhhhhhh" plus gave em the finger over my lips just to make it offical. Well I thought it workd....but it was just that they reached thier floor......FINALLY! Now I can watch Harry Potter in peace....but I was in for a big surprise.......I got to the lobby....there were tow Borgata thugs at the door....."OH GREAT!" I thought these guys are going to be on thier Walkie Talkies....but they were after me! They drug me out of my elevator....thru the lobby........and out to the curb to a waiting police car.......It was terrible....Atlantic City Jails did not have Harry Potter playing!!!!!!!!

we were there last year didn't get to stay long, but we did like the Goldstrike we will be there again the 9-10-11 of may 2006 but we never recive
any free rooms or comps.
I would think this would improve the standard of the casino if public recived
free coms and rooms. After all it's hard to gamble and pay for room and eats,
plus the expense of getting there.
