Review for PokerStars: Frustrated

I know that Pstars have to counter these accusations to defend themselves. The argument above though doesn't seem plausable. I think that you would need a lot of money to take on Pstars and I'm sure they have some very powerful friends as does the industry (cartel fashion).. I also see considerable gushing praise of Pstars from certain quarters and don't believe they are providing independent/objective reviews.

My feeling is that I am deeply suspicious about this site. Some people online call it 'RiverStars'. I think I'm not a bad player; I have a lot of weapons and take chips here and there. When I have a monster and slow play it I regularly lose on the river. That is to be expected sometimes but it's too often really. Today, this one guy rivered 3 all-ins in a row; 'all-in' suddenly was in fashion and he knocked out some good players with these moves. I bided my time, checked with KK and he went all in with 55 then I called, I don't need to tell you what happened on the river. I'm sure there is a split second pause in an 'all in' hand at the point just before the river card is dealt. It's like the computer has taken a little bit longer to analyse the play and deal accordingly. I'm a surviver and so do well at tournaments generally but this has cost me money. I hoped to learn more, get better and make a living out of this but now I feel that that may not be possible. I'm becoming dissolutioned. Incendently, I had this strong feeling and then decided to search the net for reviews, I think this site and some other places have confirmed my worst fears.

What a grubby little world we sometimes inhabit.
