First the good...the food is the best in Tunica. The Fairbanks has the best steaks I have ever eaten in my life. The Epic buffet is small, but everything on it is of high quality and is actually seasoned! Everything tasted very good. I would have to recommend that you avoid the little diner near the hotel though...it has bugs flying around everywhere and getting into the pastries every time I've gone in to look around. The gaming is fun and the atmosphere is one of the best in Tunica. The high stakes slots are actually hitable it seems. I've seen several big payouts on the $25 and $100 slots every time I've stayed there. The layout is uncluttered and the high ceilings in the casino seem to make you just feel good to be there unlike Sam's Town and others where the low ceilings and smoky air make you feel cramped and pressured. The hosts and servers are top notch and security seems to know what they're doing.
The only negative thing I have to add is that the rooms are very poor. The cleanliness is sub par, and the beds are a nightmare to rest in. The Horseshoe Casino has some of the best mattresses I've ever slept on, and a much larger Casino floor and a huge buffet, but I still tend to stay at Hollywood for the food and gaming experience....oh yeah, and they get some VERY beautiful workers from somewhere. All I know is that they're foreign and SEXY!
