The Rio was an average hotel.Billows of smoke and tacky cocktail waitresses are the first thing that you see when you enter the Rio's lobby. The rooms were worth the money that we paid but the atmosphere at the hotel left something to be desired.
I would recommend this hotel for singles and couples on a budget. The Rio is not a great place to bring kids ( too much sex being sold, second-hand smoke and lack of things to do.) If you are looking to be in the middle of things then I would suggest staying at a hotel right on the strip.
I will not be returning to the Rio anytime soon. Actually I don't care to return to Las Vegas anytime soon either.
